STM5 is a part of Sapphire Textile Group, we are one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of textile products in Pakistan. We get technology from Europe, Japan and USA. The main raw material is Cotton which is sourced locally as well imported from different parts of the world as per customer demand. We also import specialized fibers from our partners/supplier located in different part of the world.
We are using MSS more than 10 years. MSS help us to improve production, quality and time saving by data analysis. reports such as Production Lot, quality and maintenance reports like repeatedly faulty spindles, rejection MIS%, and CBF reports help to improve our monitoring which help us to improve our production, maintenance and quality.
The data-oriented discussion makes communication easy and targeted with in the team members to focus on key improvement points related to quality and production. Without MSS we can't visualize, what is going on the production floor. It makes Muratec machines QPRO and VORTEX more easy to monitor and utilize with maximum efficiency.
IMW Benchmarking is also an excellent feature which inspires the spinner to improve their performance. We hope that that will be a trend setter and will help us to further improve our mills floors.
Further, I want to see MSS improved version with more data customization options i.e. Editable Machine Settings directly from MSS, Ranking comparison according area having yarn count and clearer cut settings and Abnormal spindles report with specifically indicated alarm and faults and long-term trends of our mills to do scientific based analysis of parts life and to identify worker performance based training needs.
