Gimatex industries is a vertically integrated company having operations in ginning, spinning, weaving, processing and apparels. For Spinning we manufacture a variety of yarns which include synthetic as well as cotton yarns. For auto winding, almost 75% capacity is dedicated to Muratec auto winders.
Since inception we have been using the technology of MSS as offered by Muratec in our Gimatex.

MSS as a tool offers us an option to go towards Industry 4.0 which offers connectivity between the machines and our Human workforce. It gives us an option to become more sustainable by improving on our cost efficiencies and our production efficiencies. Also, it provides us a global benchmark for our production efficiencies at the international level.

Our users, use both Visual Manager and V-LABO for our winding as well as VORTEX technology. Here we basically get a list of rogue spindles on which they need to regularly work so as to maintain a good system health. Other than that, they are able to see the performance of each machine so that a comparison can be done on the efficiency improvement. Complete list of spare part is also available which helps them to maintain inventory and order the right spare parts as and when needed.

Also, they are able to check the settings of each machine on one single machine and control all the other machines and have a comparative statement for the same setting on all machines.
These are the features which are quite helpful for the ground level team to work on MSS system.
